Chandigarh: AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday condemned the alleged lathi-charge on students protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi over examination reforms and demanded that the Centre engage with them instead of using force.Speaking during a live social media interaction, Kejriwal urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the students’ concerns, saying the government should “sit down and talk” to them instead of suppressing protests. He alleged that students protesting against paper leaks and irregularities in examinations were being beaten and prevented from marching to Parliament.Mann said students preparing for competitive examinations such as NEET worked hard for years, only to be let down by repeated paper leaks. “We stand firmly with the students in their fight for justice,” he said.
