Hyderabad: Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief, Kalvakuntla Kavitha demanded the AP deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to return his 10 acres of land in Kodikunta lake as it falls under Shikam land and within Full Tank Level (FTL).“Pawan Kalyan must return the 10 acres of land he bought in Telangana in 2014 to the state govt immediately,” Kavitha demanded at a press conference at her Banjara Hills office on Saturday.She said the AP deputy CM bought this land right after staging an 11-day fast opposing the historic formation of Telangana, he quietly purchased 10 acres of Shikam land (land lying within the Full Tank Level of a recognized water body as per revenue records). The official revenue records explicitly state that this entire 10-acre parcel is protected Shikam land, Kavitha said.She said during the registration of the land process, massive discrepancies were deliberately manufactured to show that only 3 acres fell under the Shikam category. “This is an outright lie. We possess proofs, and I am certain the government does too. We demand that the state govt initiate immediate proceedings, seize the land back, and compensate Pawan Kalyan under standard terms, just as they would treat any ordinary farmer,” the TRS leader said.Alleging the HYDRAA was adopting dual standards on the lake encroachments and accused the body of acting as a tool to oppress the poor and middle class while shielding ultra-wealthy corporate violators.“When we staged a protest against Sri Aditya Vantage, the agency tried to malign us, but we hit back with hard, indisputable facts. To this day, HYDRAA has not taken a single step toward penalizing that project,” she said.ends/
