Pune: A Nagpur sessions court judge’s bungalow in Warje Malwadi was burgled twice within three months, first on May 9, then again on Aug 18. He lodged a complaint with the Nagpur police, which was forwarded to the Warje police station for further investigation on Friday. The judge has said there has been no concrete progress in either investigation so far.The May 9 burglary came to light only on May 26, when an AC compressor and copper wires were found missing. According to the judge’s complaint, the person seen in the CCTV footage from that incident resembles the one who attempted to break in again on Aug 18.In the Aug 18 incident, a neighbour alerted the judge around 3:24am that someone was trying to enter the bungalow after breaking a window grille; the intruder fled after neighbours raised an alarm. The judge reviewed his own CCTV footage and informed the police control room. The next day, when he contacted the Warje Malwadi police for an update, he was told they had not yet examined the footage.
