Jhajjar: The Jhajjar police administration has stepped up security arrangements across the district ahead of the Panchayat, Jhajjar Municipal Council and Block Samiti member bypolls scheduled for May 10.Under the directions of police commissioner Rajshree Singh, security has been intensified at all polling stations, particularly at sensitive and hyper-sensitive booths. Officials said strict vigil would be maintained to prevent any untoward incident during the election process.As part of the security deployment, two DCP-rank officers, four ACP-rank officers and nearly 250 Haryana Police personnel have been assigned election duty. Station house officers and police post in-charges have also been directed to remain on high alert and ensure strict compliance with Election Commission guidelines.
