Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) Thursday demolished illegal structures built within the road boundary along the 60-foot sector road on Badarna Road in Harmada.According to the JDA, the action was initiated after officials received information about encroachments on road land. The demolition drive removed platforms, ramps, boundary walls and other temporary structures constructed within the road limits. The encroachments were cleared with the help of JCB machines and labourers.

The operation was carried out in the presence of enforcement officers from Zones 17 and 13. Revenue and technical staff first identified the encroachments, following which the enforcement team cleared the road boundary.The JDA has appealed to residents to report illegal construction or encroachments through its control room, the Rajasthan Sampark Portal, helpline 181, or by email so that timely action can be taken.
