Jaipur’s Divyanshi Jain clinches Under-13 girls title at Dutch Junior Open Squash 2026 tournament

Jaipur: Divyanshi Jain from Jaipur won the Under-13 girls title at the prestigious Dutch Junior Open 2026 squash tournament held recently in Amsterdam, Netherlands.The Dutch Junior Open is considered one of the most important junior squash tournaments in the world. Divyanshi, who trains at the Rajasthan Squash Academy at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, was seeded second in the tournament.In the final, Divyanshi defeated Egypt’s Talia Islam in straight games 11-2, 11-7, 11-7 to claim the title.Earlier, she beat Germany’s Leonie Niefer 11-1, 11-3, 11-2 in the quarterfinals to reach the last four. In the semifinals, she outclassed Egypt’s Sophia Mokhtar 11-7, 12-10, 11-9 to book her place in the summit clash.According to Surbhi Misra, director of the academy, Divyanshi dominated the entire tournament without dropping a single game.The former Indian squash star also said that other Indian players performed well at the tournament. Amarya Bajaj won the U-13 boys title, Ariana Almoula won silver in U-11 girls, while Vedant Agarwal pocketed bronze in U-15 boys.
