Rajkot: A 33-year-old man, Sidhik Kumbhar, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a 30-year-old man, Adil Khalifa, to death in Gadshisha village of Mandvi taluka in Kutch district on Saturday. Police said the murder was allegedly triggered by an affair between the victim and the wife of the accused.The victim’s elder brother, Imran Khalifa, lodged a complaint at Gadshisha Police Station under Section 103(1) of the BNS, following which Sidhik was arrested.According to the complaint, Imran found Adil inside his house with multiple stab wounds to the neck, abdomen, chest and arms. He was rushed to a govt hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Investigating officer JJ Rana said, the accused was produced before a court on May 3 and remanded to one day of police custody. Police have recovered the knife used in the crime along with the accused’s clothes.Preliminary investigation revealed that Adil ran a salon, while Sidhik worked as a casual labourer.
