Varanasi: The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the apex regulatory body for pharmacy education in the country, has conferred the Pharma Ratna Award on Prof Brahmeshwar Mishra of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology department of IIT-BHU.The award recognises his distinguished service, exceptional dedication and outstanding contributions to pharmacy education. It was presented on Tuesday at a grand felicitation ceremony in New Delhi.Prof Mishra is among the senior-most faculty members of IIT-BHU and has served the institute for more than 42 years. His long-standing contributions to teaching, research and academic mentorship have significantly influenced generations of students and the wider pharmacy profession.
