LUCKNOW: The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow completed its summer placement process for the 2026-2028 batch, securing over 600 offers for Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students, including those pursuing Agribusiness Management.The highest stipend recorded this year is Rs 3.5 lakh per month against Rs 3.95 lakh per month recorded last year. The highest international stipend offered is Rs 2.5 lakhs per month.The average stipend recorded this year is Rs 1.72 lakh per month in comparison to Rs 1.67 lakh per month from last year. The median stipend recorded this year is Rs 1.75 lakh per monyh from Rs 1.72 lakh per month from the previous year. Almost 75% of the batch secured an average stipend of Rs 1.5 lakh per month, reflecting robust demand for talent at IIM Lucknow.Commenting on the success of the summer placements, IIML’s Placement Chairperson, Prof Prem Prakash Dewani said, “This year, we witnessed a commendable summer placement drive, with participation from marquee firms across diverse domains. Our rigorous academic framework, coupled with a dynamic and diverse curriculum, continues to shape future leaders who create lasting value for organisations.”The 2026-28 batch of IIM Lucknow includes 119 freshers and 459 students with substantial prior work experience across various sectors. This mix of fresh talent and seasoned professionals helped students secure positions in a range of sectors, including consulting, finance, marketing, product management, operations & retail, and e-commerce, among others.The summer placement process was joined by major legacy recruiters such as Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & Marsal, American Express, Amazon, Arga Investments, Avendus, Axis Capital, Bain & Company, Bernstein, Boston Consulting Group, Citi Group, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, EY Parthenon, Godrej, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, ITC, J.P.
