Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s women-centric initiatives reflect a clear vision and strong commitment to women’s empowerment.The assertion was made by BJP president Nitin Nabin while addressing the Nari Shakti Vandan convention at the BLW ground in Kashi on Tuesday.Welcoming Modi at the event, Nabin said the Prime Minister has consistently demonstrated an ability to convert promises into achievements despite political resistance. He said Modi’s approach goes beyond welfare delivery and is aimed at creating conditions for women-led leadership across the country.
Referring to earlier legislative decisions, Nabin said Modi’s firm stand on issues such as triple talaq earned the trust and support of women across India. He said that whenever the Prime Minister takes a pledge for the nation, he works to ensure it is fulfilled.Speaking about the women’s reservation Bill, Nabin said opposition parties delayed the measure through technical objections and lack of support in numbers. However, he asserted that once Modi adopts an issue as a mission, its implementation becomes certain.Nabin said the role of women in India has expanded significantly and that they are now leading in diverse fields ranging from agriculture to advanced technology, including artificial intelligence. He said the transformation in the lives of Indian women over the past decade has been driven by the Prime Minister’s sensitivity towards women’s concerns and his leadership at the national level.He expressed confidence that Modi’s vision of women-led development would serve as a central force in India’s journey towards its 2047 goals. According to Nabin, ensuring that women remain at the heart of policymaking and national progress will be essential to the country’s prosperity and long-term development.
