Jaipur: The Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) dept has launched a statewide household survey to identify and register all eligible beneficiaries under Poshan Abhiyaan 2.0.Officials said anganwadi workers will visit every household in their assigned areas, enrol eligible beneficiaries on the Poshan Tracker app and ensure accurate growth monitoring of children aged 0-6 years.ICDS director Vasudev Malawat said, “A special survey, being conducted from July 1 to Aug 15 which requires anganwadi workers to prepare layout maps of their areas and survey every household to ensure no eligible person is left out.”As part of the exercise, the height and weight of all children aged 0-6 years will be measured and recorded on the Poshan Tracker. Female supervisors have been directed to randomly verify the measurements of at least 10 children at each anganwadi centre every day.Pregnant women, lactating mothers, children aged 0-6 years and out-of-school adolescent girls will also be registered on the tracker.Anganwadi workers will also create awareness about the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Mukhyamantri Amrit Aahar, Mukhyamantri Matru Poshan, One Stop Centres, Women’s Safety Advisory Centres and the distribution of fortified milk during community meetings for severely malnourished children.“Female supervisors, Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs) and deputy directors will conduct inspections as per daily tour plans. The objective is to build an accurate beneficiary database to help plan nutrition services more effectively,” a senior official said.
