Lucknow: An employee of a hotel died after falling from the rooftop of a five-storey hotel in the Charbagh area on Wednesday morning, police said.The incident was reported around 10 am at a hotel under the Hussainganj police station limits.The deceased was identified as Pranav Biswas, a resident of Tagore Nagar in Shakti Farm, Uttarakhand’s Udham Singh Nagar district.After receiving information, local police reached the spot and launched an investigation. A forensic team was also called to examine the scene and collect evidence.Police are scrutinising CCTV footage from the hotel and nearby areas to ascertain the circumstances that led to the fall.The deceased’s family has been informed, and further investigation is underway.
