Radhika Mishra, daughter of former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, joined family members at the prayer meet held at BJ Medical College on Friday morning. Rupani was among the 260 people killed when the London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner came down moments after take-off on June 12 last year.Mishra also took part in a tree plantation drive on the campus. She said her family was paying tribute to all the victims of the disaster. “My father had started several initiatives for the service of society, which continue today,” she said. “We are touched by the feelings and love of people for him and hope to continue his legacy.” She declined to comment on her family’s correspondence with Air India over the compensation claim waiver, saying it was a matter between the family and the airline.
