Healthcare leaders to convene in Jaipur for nat'l summit on sustainable practices

Jaipur: Healthcare leaders will meet on Sept 18-19 for the 4th AHPI National Leadership Summit, focusing on “Sustainable Healthcare Leadership: Balancing Quality, Cost and Trust.” Organised by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), the summit aims to address how healthcare institutions can remain viable while ensuring quality and affordability.Dr Vikas Swarankar, organising chairperson, emphasised the need for a shift in healthcare leadership. He said, “Institutions must protect quality, remain affordable, and earn patient trust.” The inaugural session will feature Dr Abhijat Sheth, chairperson of the National Medical Commission, as chief guest, with principal secretary Gayatri Rathore as guest of honour.Discussions will cover various topics, including workforce retention, value-driven healthcare, and the integration of technology in patient care. Dr SC Pareek, chair of the Scientific Committee, noted that the summit will encompass aspects like people, processes, and leadership to enhance patient outcomes.The summit will also include the AHPI Leadership Awards on Sept 18 and a valedictory session featuring Chief Secretary V Srinivas and Dr VK Paul, former member, NITI Aayog, who will share his vision for “Viksit Bharat 2047.”
