Ahmedabad: The Gujarat govt has announced sustenance allowance, seed support, and additional incentives for women-led and high-technology ventures under the Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026.Under the policy, startups will receive sustenance allowance of Rs 25,000 per month for one year, while startups with women co-founders will receive Rs 30,000 per month. High-tech, fintech, biotech and green startups will be eligible for support for an additional year.The policy also provides seed support of up to Rs 30 lakh for startups and up to Rs 40 lakh for high-impact ventures. Additional support of Rs 10 lakh has been proposed for high-tech, fintech, disruptive and green startups.Women entrepreneurs will also be eligible for an additional 1% interest subsidy, rental assistance of up to 75% of rent paid, capped at Rs 3 lakh annually for five years, and support for acceleration programmes and skill development initiatives.Officials said the policy seeks to strengthen Gujarat’s startup ecosystem and support innovation-led entrepreneurship across emerging sectors such as semiconductors, green energy, drones and robotics.
