Noida: In an effort towards environmental sustainability, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is set to develop a temple-themed park, named Adbhut Bharat, in Knowledge Park V using discarded materials. This will be the second such park, after the wildlife-themed park inaugurated in Nov 2025 near the Mahamaya Flyover.Spread over 20 acres near D-Park, the park will celebrate India’s architectural and cultural heritage by creating replicas of temples, forts and heritage monuments from across the country out of recycled materials.The project aims to promote environmental awareness while creating a new recreational destination for residents and tourists.The park will have four thematic zones — North, South, East and West — with each zone showcasing iconic sacred and heritage structures from the region.The North Zone will feature Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Jageshwar Dham, Ranakpur Jain and Bhitargaon temples. The South Zone will include Virupaksha, Brihadeeswara and Kedareshwara temples. The East Zone will showcase Ravangla’s Buddha Park, Amarkantak, Jor Bangla, Sivadol and Ananta Vasudeva temples. The West Zone will feature Orchha Fort, Kakanmath Temple, Rani Ki Vav and the Kanheri Caves.Apart from the themed installations, the park will also include a hopscotch area for children, music zone, sports facilities for basketball, tennis and volleyball, along with visitor amenities like gazebos, a souvenir shop, commercial kiosks and a cafeteria.The authority has invited bids from private firms for carrying out the required civil, recreational and landscaping work for the park. The project is expected to be completed in a year’s time.
