Jaipur: In a late-night reshuffle Monday, the state govt has transferred 69 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers.The govt has appointed Suman Ram Jat as director of Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve (RVTR). Ram has become the first director, nearly four years after Ramgarh Vishdhari was notified as Rajasthan’s fourth tiger reserve.T Mohan Raj has simultaneously been appointed director of Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve. He has also been given additional charge of chief conservator of forests (Wildlife), Kota. R N Meena has been appointed as divisional chief conservator of forests, Kota.Shailja Deval has been appointed secretary of environment and climate change department and member secretary, SIEAA.Principal chief conservator of forests (PCCF) Anurag Bhardwaj has been posted as PCCF (IT), Rajasthan.Anup K R has been transferred from Jodhpur and posted as chief conservator of forests (Wildlife and Ecotourism), Jaipur.Fourteen IFS officers have also been given additional charges.Vijay N, secretary of environment and climate change department, has been transferred and posted as chief conservator of forests (Establishment), Jaipur.Jagish Prasad Deya has been appointed as DFO, Village Relocation, Sariska Tiger Reserve (STR). “To speed up village relocation after an IFS officer has been assigned. Earlier, mostly RFS were on this post,” said an official.Six trainee IFS officers have also been posted in different divisions as Assistant Conservators of Forests.
