Kolkata: The state may appeal to the SC for an extension of the deadline if it fails to complete the recruitment of assistant teachers for classes 9 to 12, according to the apex court order.School education minister Dipak Barman on Thursday said the department was still trying to complete the recruitment by the SC-set deadline. He also said the written test results for Group C and Group D posts would be declared shortly.
