Panaji: FRRO Goa deported nine foreign nationals in May 2026 so far, while a fresh enforcement drive in Mandrem on Thursday detected seven more overstaying foreign nationals.Since Jan, 27 overstaying foreign nationals of various nationalities have left the country.During the Mandrem drive, FRRO Goa detected five Russian nationals, one Ukrainian national and one South African national overstaying in the country. Necessary legal action has been initiated against them.“The nine foreign nationals deported this month include five Ugandan nationals, three Russian nationals and one Nigerian national, following sustained legal and administrative action. Proposals for blacklisting under appropriate categories have also been initiated,” SP FRRO Arshi Aadil said.In 2025, FRRO Goa deported or facilitated the exit of 120 overstaying foreign nationals, including 29 Bangladeshi nationals, Aadil said.“FRRO remains committed to firm and lawful action against overstaying foreign nationals, while safeguarding the interests of genuine and law-abiding foreign nationals visiting Goa,” she said.FRRO also advised all accommodation providers to ensure timely submission of C-Forms/Form III for foreign nationals staying at their premises.
