Margao: A fire broke out in the ground-floor vehicle parking area of a bungalow at Navelim on Thursday, gutting three vehicles and causing minor damage to a fourth.The blaze, which occurred around 6pm, burnt two cars and a two-wheeler, while the front portion of a jeep suffered fire damage, said Margao fire station officer Gill Souza.The bungalow belongs to Simon Rebello. While the exact extent of the loss is yet to be ascertained, fire brigade officials estimated the damage at around Rs 1 crore. The cause of the fire is yet to be established.Margao police also visited the spot and carried out an inspection.
