GURGAON: A major fire broke out at the Lifelong industrial warehouse in Jhund Sarai on Pataudi Road near the KMP Expressway on Tuesday night, prompting a large-scale firefighting operation. No casualties were reported. According to fire department officials, the Manesar Fire Station received a call through the emergency 112 helpline at around 10.30 pm about the blaze. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and after assessing the intensity of the fire, additional vehicles were called in. A total of 29 fire tenders were deployed to contain the blaze. The fire was brought under control after an intensive firefighting operation, with firefighters dousing flames that had spread to the second floor of the warehouse. Fire officer Narendra Singh said the department responded immediately after receiving the alert and scaled up the operation after declaring it a major fire because of the extent of the blaze. The warehouse stored fitness and massage equipment. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be established. Police, Civil Defence personnel, SDRF teams, and the industrial unit’s management were present at the site and assisted in coordinating the emergency response. Officials said there was no loss of life or injuries in the incident. The cause of the fire will be determined after a detailed investigation.
