Panaji: The crime branch of Goa police has begun an investigation into a viral video in which a woman, suspected to be a foreign national, and domestic tourists were allegedly seen discussing solicitation along the coastal belt.SP, crime branch, Rahul Gupta, said an FIR has been registered based on a complaint by the Goa police’s social media monitoring cell.The complaint stated that the accused, in furtherance of their common intention, made physical advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures, and sought sexual favours by making sexually coloured remarks to a woman wearing a white dress, thereby insulting her modesty.The video surfaced on social media on Monday. Gupta said further investigation is in progress.In the footage, the woman is seen surrounded by four to five persons, with discussions on price and location taking place, while an unidentified individual recorded the conversation.
