Kullu: For Praveen Rana, returning to academics after 50 became even more special when his 23-year-old daughter Anshika joined him in pursuing law. The father-daughter duo from Alampur in Kangra have completed their LLB, finishing among the top three in Himachal Pradesh University’s merit list.Anshika topped the university’s LLB examination, while Praveen secured third position.The two enrolled at HPU’s Regional Centre, Dharamshala, in 2023 for the three-year course, which they completed in June. Anshika was a regular student, while Praveen opted for correspondence mode to balance his studies with his job.Praveen, an inspector at the Himachal Pradesh Police Training Centre in Daroh, Kangra, resumed his studies after crossing 50 and continued working towards his degree alongside his professional responsibilities.
