Bathinda: The Faridkot Police has apprehended two operatives of the Arsh Dalla gang and have recovered two foreign made weapons, including .30 bore Beretta pistol along with 2 live cartridges, and a Glock 9 mm pistol along with 2 live cartridges from their possession.Those arrested have been identified as Upjinder Singh and Talwinder Singh. During the preliminary investigation, the arrested persons were found to have links with Navjot Singh alias Neetu, associated with the Arsh Dalla gang, who was lodged in Central Jail, Faridkot. The police team has obtained his production warrant, and further disclosures are expected during the course of investigation, said the police.Faridkot DSP Avtar Singh said that the arrested accused have criminal antecedents. Seven cases under the Arms Act, drug trafficking and ther serious offences have already been registered against them. Besides them, 7 cases under various sections are also registered against accused Navjot Singh alias Neetu.Both have been arrested from near a canal bridge situated on the link road from Panjgrai Kalan to Dhilwan village in Faridkot.
