Chennai: DMK has hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday for his alleged silence on the impact of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Tamil Nadu assembly elections.On a day when Rahul Gandhi led a protest against chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in New Delhi and got arrested, DMK sought to know the Congress leader’s stand on deletion of voters through SIR in Tamil Nadu.“Why was Rahul Gandhi not endorsing Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement that state assemblies elected after SIR should be dissolved and fresh elections should be conducted, DMK spokesperson A Saravanan asked. “Is he afraid of Vijay( TN chief minister C Joseph Vijay)’’ Saravanan asked and added, “What a duplicitous man?’’
