Mumbai: The Dharavi Bachao Andolan has organised a demonstration on Monday to protest the eviction of residents for the redevelopment project. Baburao Mane, president, DBA said residents had been promised key to key rehabilitation instead they are now being asked to temporarily shift out of Dharavi. The survey carried out by Dharavi Redevelopment Project /Slum Rehabilitation Authority had held a large number of residents ineligible for free housing, alleged Mane. He added the local MP Anil Desai of the Shiv Sena (UBT) will also participate in the morcha.The demonstrators will take a morcha to the office of Adani Realty the lead developer for the project.
