LUCKNOW: The state capital Lucknow witnessed a series of flight diversions on Thursday evening as adverse weather conditions in New Delhi disrupted operations, forcing several aircraft to land at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport.IndiGo flight 6E329 operating from Delhi to Mumbai was diverted to Lucknow after prolonged holding over Delhi due to bad weather, leaving the aircraft low on fuel for the onward journey to Mumbai. The aircraft landed in Lucknow at 8.44 pm, refueled, and later departed for Mumbai.Air India flight AI2910 from Mumbai to Delhi, was also diverted to Lucknow because of poor weather conditions in the national capital.IndiGo flight 6E6984 from Hisar to Delhi too was diverted to Lucknow due to adverse weather in Delhi.In a separate incident, Air India Express flight AI2820 operating from Bengaluru to Delhi made a priority landing at Lucknow at 9 pm following a medical emergency onboard involving an 80-year-old passenger suffering from anxiety issues. The passenger was attended to by doctors after landing and was found stable with normal vitals. The passenger was safely offloaded at Lucknow. A total of 11 passengers deboarded from the aircraft. The flight was airborne at 10.09 pm.Akasa Air flight QP1407 from Hyderabad to Delhi was also diverted to Lucknow due to bad weather in Delhi and landed at 9.13 pm.Another IndiGo flight, 6E5138 operating from Delhi to Raipur, was diverted to Lucknow and landed at 10.03 pm due to bad weather. The aircraft was parked at bay 10.
