New Delhi: Delhi govt is organising a pilgrimage for around 1,300 devotees to the Somnath Temple in Gujarat to commemorate 1,000 years of faith in the shrine.Chief minister Rekha Gupta said the initiative, titled Somnath Swabhiman Parv-Somnath Yatra, is dedicated to marking a millennium of what she described as “eternal faith” among devotees.A special train carrying the pilgrims will depart from Safdarjung railway station on April 30 and is scheduled to reach Somnath the following morning, Gupta said in a post on X.Gupta said arrangements for accommodation, food, drinking water and other facilities will be made by Gujarat govt.
