Udaipur: The Oberoi Udaivilas Hotel in Udaipur lodged a complaint alleging that a Delhi family left the property without clearing a bill of Rs 5.74 lakh after a 10-day stay, claiming a travel agency would make the payment on their behalf.An FIR was registered at Ambala police station based on the complaint.Police identified the guest as Anurag Yadav, who stayed at the hotel with his wife and two children from Aug 14 to 23. The hotel said the family used its luxury facilities and services during the stay.The hotel management said that at checkout on Aug 24, Yadav refused to pay the amount and maintained that the travel agency would settle the dues.According to the complaint, Maker Baha Travel Agency booked the room via email on Aug 12. The hotel claimed there was no special arrangement, discount or agreement with the agency regarding payment at the time of booking.
