A local court has granted two days’ police custody of Bandi Bageerath, son of Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in a Pocso case.
Hyderabad: A local court has granted two days’ police custody of Bandi Bageerath, son of Union minister of state Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in a Pocso case.A Pocso court in Medchal-Malkajgiri heard the arguments of both parties regarding the custody petition moved by the Pet Basheerabad police. “After hearing the arguments, the court granted two days’ custody of Bageerath on Tuesday. He will be taken into custody from Cherlapally prison on Wednesday,” said a Pet Basheerabad police official.Bageerath was arrested on May 16 by Cyberabad police near Telangana State Police Academy in Narsingi in a Pocso case. He was produced before the court and sent in judicial remand to Cherlapally prison.
