Congress came to power with false promises and fake declarations: KTR

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao alleged Congress came into power by spreading smear campaign against the BRS govt. He said the Congress made false promises and fake declarations during the 2023 assembly elections. It was due to Congress’s poisonous propaganda that BRS suffered defeat at that time, KTR said. The Congress party, which came through the backdoor, has pushed Telangana back by 25 years. Revanth Reddy is turning the state, which he himself described as a platter full of abundance, into a discarded platter.Speaking at the Telangana formation day celebrations at Telangana Bhavan, after unfurling the flag on Tuesday, the Congress ascended to power by repeating those same lies in the form of declarations and 420 promises.“The Congress party has polluted Telangana politics with lies, fabrications, and poisonous propaganda. While the entire country got rid of Congress as a curse, it has come to Telangana,” he said..Even though exactly half the term has elapsed, this Congress government has achieved nothing, KTR said and added the party struggle is not for power, but for the people of Telangana.“In 30 months, it has brought Telangana crashing down in all sectors. There is no section that has not been deceived under Congress rule. Agriculture, which was progressing happily, has sunk into crisis. There is no Rythu Bandhu, no one to provide fertilizers, and finally, even after 2 months of harvesting crops, there is no one to purchase them. It is painful to see the misfortune where even falling at the government’s feet evokes no mercy,” he said. The BRS leader said with the intention of defaming KCR, Congress has harbored vengeance against irrigation projects. “Revanth Reddy is an incapable and incompetent Chief Minister who cannot provide urea, who cannot procure Paddy, did not pay Rythu Bandhu, did not give jobs to the unemployed youth,” he said.“Rahul Gandhi also deceived unemployed students and youth by making them sit at Ashok Nagar. In 2.5 years, the Congress govt has not provided even 4,000 new jobs — what has Rahul Gandhi been doing for the remaining 2.5 years? Rahul Gandhi should come to Chikkadpally library and Ashok Nagar Chowrasta to debate on this,” he said. The BRS working president said the BRS would contest alone in the next elections, and earlier the party has always contested alone and won alone after Telangana formation.ends/
