Panchkula: Police arrested the main accused in the night Sector 11 club firing case from Kharar on Wednesday. The accused was identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Kaku, a resident of Ferozepur.DCP Crime and Traffic Amrinder Singh said three other accused — Lakhbir Singh alias Lucky, Gurpreet Singh and Karanjit Singh, all residents of Ferozepur — had already been arrested and were on six-day police remand.Police commissioner Pankaj Nain said Kaku allegedly carried out the firing inside the club. Police recovered the Zigana pistol allegedly used in the crime, eight live cartridges and the XUV 500 used to escape. The accused was remanded in police custody for six days.
