Haryana state nodal officer for the Census 2027 Sumita Misra
Chandigarh: Dr Sumita Misra, the state nodal officer for the Census 2027 and financial commissioner, revenue and disaster management department, govt of Haryana, has notified the schedule for the second phase of the Census, with population enumeration across the state scheduled from Jan 25 to Feb 28, 2027.A five-day revision round will subsequently be conducted from March 1 to 5.Sumita Misra said residents would also have the option of self-enumeration from Jan 10 to 24, 2027, ahead of the main population enumeration exercise.The self-enumeration facility will provide residents an opportunity to submit their information in advance, while the subsequent population enumeration exercise will cover households across the state.
