Lucknow: Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General NS Raja Subramani visited the headquarters of the Central Command here and reviewed its operational preparedness and logistics capabilities.During the visit, General Subramani held discussions with Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Command and other senior officers. The discussions covered operational readiness, capability development, logistics and the evolving security environment, according to an official statement.The CDS also inspected a new Central Command hospital which is under construction. Officials briefed him on the progress of the project and the healthcare facilities planned at the hospital.During his visit, General Subramani also called on Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. The two discussed issues of mutual interest, including coordination between the armed forces and the state govt. According to a statement released by defence PRO office, the interaction focused on maintaining military-civil coordination for institutional and developmental requirements.The visit to Central Command headquarters also included review of efforts aimed at strengthening logistics, infrastructure and operational capabilities to address emerging requirements.
