Car overturns in Royapettah; no casualties
Chennai: A car overturned after hitting a wall as its driver attempted to avoid a two-wheeler that suddenly crossed its path in Royapettah. No injuries were reported in the accident. According to police, Afridi, a resident of Royapettah, was travelling with his friends along Peters Road to park the car in a shed. While attempting to take a U-turn beneath a flyover, a two-wheeler suddenly crossed the car’s path. In an attempt to avoid hitting the vehicle, Afridi swerved the car, which lost control, crashed into a wall and overturned. All occupants of the car escaped unhurt. The Triplicane Traffic Investigation Wing police are investigating the accident.
