MUMBAI: Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Gupta died at the age of 57 at his Mumbai residence on Friday night after reportedly suffering injuries in a fall.Police official said he was taken to Cooper Hospital.“There is nothing suspicious about the death,” an official said.Several members of the film fraternity expressed grief over his death.Film critic Taran Adarsh took to X and wrote: “Shocked beyond words… can’t believe Sanjay Gupta is no more. Met him a few days ago at Mata ki Chowki at his residence.”Gupta was best known for directing films such as Kaante and Shootout at Wadala.
