Lucknow: The launch of a blood donation campaign and fruit distribution across hospitals marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday on Thursday.Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak launched the campaign at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civil Hospital in Lucknow, where he met patients and attendants and inaugurated a blood donation camp and blood centre. The month-long campaign, from Sept 17 to Oct 17, includes health, cleanliness and welfare activities. Hospitals also lit ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’, wishing Modi good health and a long life.
