Hyderabad: BJP on Wednesday lodged a complaint with chief electoral officer (CEO), Telangana, C Sudharshan Reddy, alleging fraudulent and unauthorised digitisation of blank enumeration forms during the special intensive revision (SIR) 2026 in the Serilingampally assembly constituency.BJP Telangana’s Election Commission affairs committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleged that booth level officers (BLOs) bypassed the prescribed door-to-door verification and physical collection of voter details while uploading enumeration forms to the official mobile application.The complaint was submitted at the CEO’s office in Hyderabad . A related representation was also sent to the Serilingampally zonal commissioner.According to the complaint, BLOs uploaded images of the blank reverse side of the enumeration forms without entering the mandatory voter particulars on the front. BJP alleged that the process was adopted to inflate completion figures and meet administrative targets.It further alleged that, in some divisions, details were entered online without BLOs visiting the voters’ households. Hundreds of such entries were allegedly made after officials came under pressure to show progress in enumeration and digitisation.PS numbers 575 to 580, booths 607 and 609 citedThe complaint concerns BLOs working in polling station numbers 575 to 580 and booths 607 and 609 in the Serilingampally assembly constituency of Rangareddy district.It also names supervisory officers and assistant electoral registration officers (AEROs), alleging that they either pressured BLOs to meet targets or condoned the inflation of statistics. A bill collector, Jayalakshmi, was accused of pressuring BLOs to complete the exercise without following the mandated process.The allegations relate to the integrity of the enumeration process under the SIR, in which physical verification and collection of details from electors form the basis for digitisation of enumeration forms. BJP alleged that uploading blank forms without household verification defeated the prescribed safeguards and produced an inaccurate picture of the work completed.
