Alwar: An eight-month-old girl was left battling for life after her mother allegedly forced acid down her throat following a dispute with her husband in the Bhiwadi area of Khairthal-Tijara district, police said Tuesday.The girl is currently under treatment at the Rajkiya Geetanand Shishu Hospital in Alwar, where doctors described her condition as critical.According to police and family members, the girl’s mother, Sapna, had been insisting on going to her parental home for the past few days. Her husband, Mohit, asked her to postpone the visit as he had just joined a new job and was unable to take leave.
