Kolkata: Bengal BJP is preparing a month-long outreach programme to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life, with the party planning to reach out to people, down to every booth and household, with the message of “Viksit Bharat 2047”.“Seva Sankalp Abhiyan”, scheduled to begin on Sept 17, will also feature organisational programmes along with community initiatives in schools, colleges and rural areas across the country. The campaign will showcase welfare initiatives while strengthening the party’s grassroots connection.Under the campaign, BJP workers will identify beneficiaries of welfare schemes and visit their homes. They will invite beneficiary families to light lamps. Another initiative titled “25 Crore Bachchon Ke Sapno Ka Bharat” will involve drawing and elocution competitions in schools. Students will be encouraged to discuss welfare initiatives and the vision of a developed India.“Seva Gatha” will feature street plays to narrate stories of welfare schemes and the country’s transformation over the past 25 years. Each district is expected to involve 18-20 theatre groups, with performances at 100 locations on Oct 2.BJP has listed 25 social service activities, including blood donation, tree planting, health camps, cleaning rivers and water bodies, cybersecurity awareness and voter awareness.The campaign will culminate on Oct 17 with “Jansevak Mahakumbh”, bringing together about 1.25 lakh panchayat heads and elected representatives in New Delhi and other locations. It will also feature discussions on Modi’s 25 years of public service and the “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision.
