Nashik: A TCS woman employee, a co-accused in a case involving rape, molestation and hurting religious sentiments, has moved a bail application before an additional sessions court, with the hearing scheduled for May 25. Two other men are accused in the same case.The accused, who had allegedly evaded arrest and was later nabbed by Nashik city police with assistance from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar police, is currently lodged in judicial custody.“Since our client is pregnant and remanded in judicial custody, we have moved bail plea in front of the court. The court has placed the matter for hearing on May 25,” her counsel Baba Sayyed said.Meanwhile, the bail pleas of five male accused and one woman — an AGM (delivery partner) — were also taken up by the court on Wednesday. The matter has been posted for orders on May 15. “We are likely to get the decision on May 15,” Sayyed added.In a related development, the bail application of another accused — booked specifically for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of a male colleague — will be heard separately on June 6, the court said.Ends
