Varanasi: As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the UP govt and Australia’s Monash University for collaboration in the field of education, an interactive session with teachers was organised at here on Monday. A three-member delegation from Monash University, comprising associate dean Prof Deana Leahy, Teaching Excellence Academy lead Prabhat Rai, and distinguished professor Manisha Priyam visited Kashi to conduct a field visit to the CM Model School. Leahy said that a two-day workshop will be organised in Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida on April 23 and 24. It will be attended by approximately 250 teachers of govt primary schools from across the state. The MoU was signed to elevate the state’s education standards to international levels. The partnership focuses on research, innovation, training, and technical collaboration, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. The target areas include research, innovation, training, and technical collaboration for students and faculty across basic, secondary, and higher education.
