Itanagar: The Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Noglo village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district on Sunday, providing healthcare services to 312 residents of the village and nearby areas, an official report said on Monday.The camp, held under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme, offered general health check-ups, medical consultations and treatment for common seasonal ailments. Essential medicines were also distributed free of cost.Assam Rifles personnel conducted awareness sessions on preventive healthcare, personal hygiene, sanitation and the prevention of vector-borne diseases.Residents and community leaders thanked the force for organising the camp in the remote border area, the district information and public relations officer’s report said.The camp was part of the Assam Rifles’ civic action initiatives aimed at improving community welfare and access to healthcare in remote areas, the report added.
