Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma announcing land for Lovlina Boxing Academy
Guwahati: The Assam cabinet on Friday approved land for setting up Lovlina Boxing Academy in Palasbari revenue circle near Guwahati.The cabinet also waived premium, down to a nominal Re 1, on a four-bigha plot allotted for setting up the academy in honour of the recent Asian Games gold medal winner Lovlina Borgohain.Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the decision on X, saying the cabinet had “cleared the decks” for the academy so that “the next gen of Assam’s Lovlinas can get the best training and make the nation proud.”
