Jaipur: Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University has started its admission process for the 2026-27 academic session, and application forms are open till June 30.This year, the university is offering admissions in several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with diploma, certificate and self-financed courses. Undergraduate courses include the four-year Shastri course in Veda, Dharmashastra, Philosophy, Jain Philosophy; four-year BA course in Sanskrit, Hindi, Political Science; and four-year BA/BSc (Yoga) programme.For postgraduate studies, students can apply for two-year Acharya, two-year MA and two-year MA/MSc Yoga courses.Officials said that the university is also offering one-year diploma programmes in various subjects such as Paurohitya Karmakanda, Astrology, Vastu Shastra, PG diploma in Yoga, Mantra Sadhana Paddhati and Chikitsa, Temple Management Diploma, and Manuscriptology Diploma.“Students can complete the admission process online through the official university website and the admission portal. Students can also speak with officials from different departments for advice on choosing a subject. This time, contact details of departments have been mentioned along with admission details on the university website so that students can clear their doubts before filling the admission form,” said a senior official.According to the eligibility criteria, students applying for Shastri, BA and BSc courses must have passed Class 12, and candidates seeking admission to Acharya, MA, MSc and PG diploma courses should hold a graduation degree in the relevant subject.The university has announced that the first merit list after submission of all applications will be released on June 20.
