Amitabh Bachchan made an unexpected family revelation involving Saif Ali Khan during the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Saif appeared on the popular quiz show alongside his Haiwaan co-star Akshay Kumar, when host Amitabh pointed out that the two actors share a connection through their extended families.The revelation appeared in a promo for the upcoming episode, with Amitabh telling Saif, “Many people don’t know that he is in our relation.”Saif appeared surprised by the revelation and asked, “Me?” Amitabh then proceeded to explain how their families are linked.The connection runs through the Kapoor and Nanda families. Amitabh’s daughter Shweta Bachchan is married to Nikhil Nanda, whose mother, Ritu Nanda, was the daughter of legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor.Raj Kapoor was Kareena Kapoor’s grandfather, making Nikhil Nanda and Kareena cousins. Since Saif is married to Kareena, his relationship with the Bachchan family comes through marriage rather than blood.Explaining the connection on the show, Amitabh said, “Raj Kapoor’s daughter, Ritu’s son Nikhil is married to my daughter Shweta.”The revelation prompted Amitabh to take the conversation in a humorous direction.
