A bulldozer demolishes an illegal construction during a municipal enforcement drive in a residential Indian locality, as officials clear unauthorized structures.
Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Friday demolished an illegal structure in the Jamalpur area as part of its drive against unauthorised constructions in the city.According to the AMC estate department, an illegal construction measuring around 775 sq ft had been done opposite Kadri ni Chali and Ekta Pan Parlour at Raikhad in Jamalpur. The civic body had issued notices to the parties concerned on May 25, May 27 and June 3, directing them to address the violations. After no compliance was recorded, AMC sealed the premises on Sep 10.On Sep 11, AMC demolished the entire illegal structure, officials said.
