Ahmedabad: A 17-year-old college student was robbed of a gold chain worth about Rs 1 lakh by two bike-borne snatchers while he was out for a walk near his house in Chandkheda, police said. An FIR was registered on Monday.According to the complaint, the robbery occurred around 10pm on July 21 when the teenager was walking with a friend from Vyaswadi Circle towards Palak Crossroads after dinner. Police said two men, aged around 20 to 25 years, approached them on a motorcycle without a number plate. The pillion rider allegedly grabbed the teenager by the neck and snatched his one-tola gold chain before the duo sped away towards Palak Crossroads.
