Ahmedabad: More than 90 first-year students from diploma and degree engineering programmes at Apravit University, Gandhinagar, visited the Toy House at the Centre of Toy Science on the Children’s Research University campus in Sector 20 as part of an educational tour.During the visit, the students explored facilities such as the Toy Lab, Toy Library, STEM Lab and Puzzle Lab. They interacted with a variety of educational toys, scientific models, puzzles and experimental setups designed to encourage experiential learning and provide exposure to innovative teaching methods that combine play with education.The students participated in several hands-on activities that helped them understand scientific concepts through interactive learning. The initiative was aimed at strengthening logical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity and innovation by demonstrating the educational value of toys as learning tools.Faculty members at the centre guided the students throughout the session and highlighted the importance of learning by doing and play-based education.
