Agartala: Ramakrishna Mission School, Agartala, ranked 20th among about 18,000 boys’ day schools across the country.The ranking was announced at the Education World India School Rankings (EWISR) 2026–27 Awards, held from Oct 22 to 24 at Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi.CM Manik Saha said the achievement reflected Tripura schools’ reputation, academic standards and commitment to quality education.In Tripura’s co-ed day school category, St Paul’s School ranked first, followed by DWPS Agartala and Sri Krishna Mission School. Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir and Don Bosco School, Agartala, shared fourth place.Vasant Valley School, Delhi, was named India’s Best Day School.“Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya’s national ranking is a source of pride for Tripura, a small state in Northeast India. Its place among the country’s leading boys’ day schools shows that schools in the region can compete with established institutions elsewhere,” Saha said.
